About Me and Acknowledgments I have been a fan of the “Big Spud” for my entire life, and have been collecting them (and about 40 other things) for over 12 years. At one time I published one of the longest running worldwide PEZ dispenser newsletters. (interestingly, they started in the U.S. the same year as Mr. Potato Head.) In between my many hunts for collectibles, I work full time as a television director.

I began compiling information and history of Mr. Potato Head in March 1999. In my research, I was able to talk to many people that have been involved with Mr. Potato Head toys, advertising, and related products.
I hope you enjoy the Potato Head Collector's page and find it useful. If you have any additional information that other collectors might enjoy, please let me know! Also, I'm always looking for unusual Potato Head items!
Thanks!Dennis Martin
